Best Job Opportunities in Computer Engineering
By studying computer you can get various job opportunities. The first bright era is the era of computers. Students of this department do not have to travel much for jobs after graduation. However, due to the aptitude and skill of the student, many times he/she gets a job. And if you don't want to work, many people have established themselves by freelancing or doing business.
Best Job Opportunities in Computer Engineering |
There are many avenues open for computer science students. The students passed from this department mainly work in two parts. Some are programmers and some are network administrators. These two types of work are in great demand from the students.
Apart from this, if you have drawing skills then you can become a graphic or web designer. There are opportunities for freelancing as well. You can do various tasks in the country and abroad by practicing subject knowledge sitting at home. You yourself can employ more people.
And there are office-court jobs. Every bank, corporate house, mass media and almost all public and private offices require computer skilled manpower.
Computer science students from Bangladesh are in great demand outside the country. The world-renowned company Google conducted a one-week workshop from January 5 at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka. Computer students from around Dhaka participated in it. Many people were also given jobs from that workshop. A student who has just graduated from this department of Dhaka University but the result is not published has also got a job in Google.
Mustafizur Rahman, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dhaka University, said that the demand for students pursuing computer science is increasing day by day. Organizations like Google organize such programs every year to pick up deserving students from Dhaka University. It seems that the only opportunity available in this department is to work directly with Google, Facebook or international multinational companies.
Many Bangladeshi students have already secured their seats in these prestigious institutions. Apart from this, every year many students go abroad for higher education. They are doing pretty well too. Various universities or companies organize programming competitions throughout the year. By participating in these competitions, you get a chance to prove yourself. There is also competition in software development, especially mobile software development.
Computer science students are mainly in demand in private institutions in this country. However, there is no interest in taking higher degree holders in computers in government offices. On an average, two to three hundred students from Bangladesh go abroad every year. All these are the wealth of the country. If they are used properly, the whole country can change.
Most jobs in the country start as assistant programmers, and many join as senior programmers. Some places also work as systems analysts. Institutes like Tiger IT, Banglaket, Beximco, Infinity, Leeds, Dohatech, Bdicon, Nanosoft, Automation, Bez etc. take people every year.
Chairman of the Department of Computer Science, University of Dhaka. Hasanuzzaman said that the first condition for employment is personal qualification. Most of the jobs depend on your qualifications and skills. Academic credentials don't matter much here. However, the value of students of good educational institutions varies slightly.
Foreign companies in Bangladesh usually hold workshops ranging from a week to 15 days. Various types of tests are taken there for the students. Later the selected students were taken from there. Also, some institutes conduct the exam in India. Bangladesh students have to go there to take the exam.
Salaries in foreign institutions are very high. Many teachers said that the starting salary in large companies is five thousand US dollars. And the minimum wage in the country is 35 to 40 thousand Taka. Many people start their work with 20 to 25 thousand rupees. Initially the salary depends a lot on the merit of the student and his/her institution.
Why not study for CSE?
After the HSC exam, the result is out. And since information technology is quite popular in Bangladesh, many people want to study computer science either on their own volition or under the influence of others. Computer science in many places, computer science and engineering in some places, software engineering in some places - but the syllabus is close. And almost all government universities and private universities in the country have this department. Now before taking any decision, it is better to take a decision after thinking carefully. That's why I am writing this.
Computer science is a strange subject. Some go directly to Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft after graduation in this subject in Bangladesh. Also goes to various companies in Asia and Europe-America. The salary of a fresh graduate in these places ranges from three to seven lakh rupees depending on the place. Then everyone should study CSE. But in reality most of the students struggle to get a job with ten thousand taka salary, Google-Facebook is far away. Even those who get jobs within the country, the salary of some of them is 50-60 thousand rupees in the beginning. And the salary of some is 10-15 thousand Taka. What is the reason for this? Why so much discrimination? Is this all because of uncle and uncle's coercion?
The reason is efficiency. Top students studying computer science go abroad for research and higher education, but only a handful. But for the rest there is no better option than becoming a software engineer. Although there are a few other carriers, this is the main option. So you need to know programming to do this. And programming is not like other studies, I just fell and learned. Again, it is not just a brick-breaking skill, it requires education, logic-intelligence-analysis. So what's the problem? We will learn programming. But I am not able to learn, why am I saying this.
Learning programming takes effort - reading and practicing. And you'll have to lower your head again to do this exercise, but it's not the type of exercise that's visually typified. Sometimes unknown problems have to be solved thoughtfully. It takes 4-5 hours to solve a small problem while learning programming. So we have passed from class I to HSC by remembering. I must have tried to understand some big numbers. We never spent 4-5 hours on any problem. Hope this is clear. Now it is being said that if I get the time, I will take the help of the teacher as much as I have to work hard. The point is here.
First, let the teacher's help go. There are no good teachers in most of the places. Because no one really teaches in Bangladesh except a handful of people who are very good at programming. So I've heard from many people, teachers in class can't explain programming properly. A job interviewer will hear this and say, "What's in it for me?" Now you might think that programming can be learned by yourself. I myself will try and learn. This will not happen either, read the rest of this article to know.
In fact, you can't spend time on programming. You have to attend university classes, and if you are in Dhaka, you spend a lot of time on the streets. Furthermore, we are social animals.
There are friends and relatives. How many programs do you need to attend? Meanwhile, at night, the Premier League, La Liga, UEFA - so many things. And there is a game of cricket - it is a sin not to watch it. Then there are many kinds of serials, Game of Thrones, Hen-ten, if you don't watch it, there is no value in society. After all this is Mobile, Facebook, Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp etc. I don't go to the notification, the notification comes to me! That's why I say, I can't give time. I can't even work hard, if I can give time I can't work hard. So take time to understand yourself. Study computer science and do something other than being unemployed.
And computer science is very understanding. Those who have trouble in understanding basic maths, do not come here.
Which Private University is Better For CSE?
Studying Computer Science in Bangladesh can have two objectives, one to become a computer scientist, the other to become a software engineer. Another, of course, is to obtain certificates, but they are not the subject of my discussion.
Those who want to become a computer scientist should study in any university, because in our country no private university is famous abroad. So you will not get any additional benefit here. No matter where you study, a good GPA and a good GRE-TOEFL score will stand a chance.
Now come those people who want to work in software development. Good software engineers have many job opportunities (at home and abroad) and the salary is also good. As far as I know, this is the reason why wants to study CSE.
Let's say there are 80 private universities in Bangladesh, and they are ranked. Now one of the two friends with similar qualifications studied at the first university, the other studied at the 80th university. If the person studying at number 80 learns programming properly, practices, is aware of software development techniques, and if a friend studying in number 1 university just walks around wearing the wind, then the first person who study in number 80 university It is, he will be in an advantageous position at the beginning of his career. Because to do well in software engineering you need to know the job and hard workers do well here.
If you want to know about a university, you must first know how teachers are. That being said computer science is not like any other subject which is good in such and such university so the students there are good. Most are self-learning, with teachers only providing inspiration. Here a young teacher can give a lot of motivation, whereas a PhD teacher can make the subject boring to the students. So instead of looking at degrees, you have to find out which university has more teachers who are young at heart and treat students like friends - like Mr. Keatings of the Dead Poets Society. Teachers can create a different culture.
Other things to keep in mind:
Expenses: Apart from tuition fees, there are many other expenses in the university. So you have to search very well.
Travel: Distance from home should also be taken care of. It cannot be the job of a creative student to spend three hours a day on the road to go to university. It is unhealthy too.
Friends: Where your best friends will study can also be an idea.
And it is best to learn programming language in the time available after admission till the start of classes. Then there is no pressure when class starts, otherwise you have to struggle with programming. And these subjects must be mastered, whether the teacher teaches them in the classroom, by self-study or with the help of friends. If you don't learn them, even if the outcome is good, it will be in danger.
Structured Programming, Object Oriented Programming, Discrete Mathematics, Data Structures, Algorithms, Databases, Computer Networking, Artificial Intelligence, Web Programming, Software Engineering, Software Analysis and Design. They are taught in almost all universities. You have to be a master in these matters. Live a beautiful life, be a good programmer, get a good job after graduation.
These universities have good CSE programs:
Dhaka University, BUET, Shahjalal University, Ehsanullah University, IUT, MIST, RUET, BRAC, AIUB, Asia Pacific University.
The rest aren't bad at all. University is not a big factor if you have creativity and love math.
What is the specialty of CSE in University?
1. CSE should be recognized by IEB.
2. Most universities start teaching programming in the second semester. As a result, Java has to be learned in the second year. Example: Buett. So that someone who wants to work with Android but cannot start before the third year. C Programming, C++ Software Development, Java are taught in the first year. So students start Windows app development in the second year and more interested ones start working with Android as well.
3. Various courses in Mathematics are taught in the University in six consecutive semesters. (This is so crazy!!!!)
4. Five consecutive software development labs are conducted in the university from the second semester to the sixth semester, which is not done in any other university in Bangladesh. In laboratories, games or applications have to be developed on C++, Java, Android, PHP and C#. It also serves us well in our jobs.
5. The family of the Sattikars becomes the CSE department when the seniors are very honest and have a soul connection with them.
6. Total credits are 162. Which is the second largest CSE in Bangladesh.
7. Separate training is also given to participate in various programming competitions.
8. Prepare yourself for various app development competitions. Like the EATL App Contest. Microsoft Competition in two categories in Hackathons etc.
9. Students of Bangladeshi Windows app developers are now taking training in Microsoft app development at countless universities.
10. Most of the seniors work in reputed IT firms and reputed organizations.
Who should study CSE?
From which university should I study CSE or Computer Science Engineering??? CSE is the most creative subject in the engineering field. It can be called a sea of creativity!!!! Believe it or not, university is a 20% factor in studying CSE, a 30% factor in how good you are at maths and logic and the remaining 50% factor in how creative you are.
it's not something to remember
If you have the power to think, the power of imagination, the will to work hard, the strong desire to stick, the patience to sit in front of the computer for hours without getting bored, have a dream to create something new, then 50% of Work is done !!!! That is, you are undoubtedly quite a creative person. You boss feel free to come to CSE, you are most welcome.
Mathematics is very useful in the street of CSE. If you are very crude in maths, you will face thousands of problems in CSE. Everything a computer engineer does or does is a mathematical experiment. Our job is to show magic using math and logic!!!! And everything that is taught in CSE deals with various excellent applications of mathematics. So without good maths it is not possible to improve in CSE.
So those who are creative and love math, go ahead!
Who are you looking for CSE!!!! Still, Bangladesh has some good CSE students. However, for those who are creative and love math, no matter what university you are in, no one can stop you. University is not a factor for you!!! Your passion will take you far one day.
But if you still tell me in which university I should study, I will talk about some factors.
First of all get the CSE Syllabus of the university you are interested in. Most universities have the syllabus on their website.
Now look at the factors carefully:
1. If you want to pursue an engineering degree, check whether the university's CSE degree is recognized by the IEB. But there are many universities that offer honors degree but the quality of CSE studies is very good. For example, I personally feel that Dhaka University's CSE syllabus, teaching style, faculty, etc. are the best in Bangladesh. But DU CSE Honors Degree.
2. Mathematics is very important in CSE. So check the syllabus and see if there are at least four semesters of maths syllabus. It is necessary to have it.
3. Also see how many programming languages are taught at that university. All good universities teach at least 2-3 languages.
4. Also check if there is a software development lab. This is important for your creativity.
5. At least 60% of the total courses are related to CSE or not. (In engineering various courses are taken in other departments like Electrical, Mechanical, Arts other than your own department. But the number of marks should not be very high.)
6. How many credits for the whole course?
Must have at least 150 credits The number of credits is written in the course itself.
7. Do university students participate in creative events such as programming competitions, various project demonstrations, etc.? Have they found success there? This will definitely be a plus point for the university.
8. How friendly are the seniors of the CSE department of that university, how are the graduates of different batches now, one should also see. You will need a lot of help from superiors at different times. So, if they are friendly, your problems will be less.
However, there are several factors to consider.
